Flora and Fauna of James Bond Island Most parts of the island are covered with shrubs, which are limestone, and are characterized by evergreen trees such as Pandanus, Euphorbis, cacti, cycads, and prickly pear that grow on soilless slopes. It maintains a stable temperature in the depths due to the presence of shallow and deep waters in it, which makes it rich in mangrove forests, providing a suitable life for plankton. The island contains about 26 types of reptiles, 24 types of fish, 14 types of shrimp, 15 types of crabs, 16 types of manta trees, in addition to sharks. The coral reef-rich environment is an ideal habitat for Butterflyfish. Blue crab, lobster, shrimp, lobster, rainbow squid, and many other living creatures, especially vegetarian ones, such as seaweed, red algae, and halimda abound on the island.
